Enterprise was born as a spin-off of the italian Inter-Universitary Transport Research Center, and it works as an indipendent company. It joins the know how of a group of technological and financial experts in the sustenaible mobility filed, to the fees due on the universitary, industrial and directional sector.

In 2002 Enterprise founded (having the 60% of the share) Columbia Group S.r.l., with Riviera Trasporti S.p.A. and another minority subject. The main activity of this company is the planning and the production of electric, electronic and data transmission systems for public transport and mobility.

Enterprise's main products and services are:

ELECTRIC TRACTION SYSTEMS

Feasibility studies, simulatins, technical-economical analysis, public financings researchs and management planning for low emission vehicles: trolleybus, tramway, cable railways, electric and hybrid bus.

PLANNING FOR MOBILITY

Design of "on-call" public transport services, planning of transport nets and integrated mobility services, surveys and analysis of traffic flows.

DATA TRANSMISSION AND TRANSPORTS

Project Management in realization and training activities regarding AVM systems, automatic devices for fleets tracking, developement of on-board devices for custom applications, advice for tender writing.

PROFESSIONAL TRAINING

Seminars, series of lessons planning and management for the mobility and transport sector, vocational and high training, teaching.
